Happy Wednesday Congregant!
With
the broader averages continuing to struggle, The Stock Preacher is here
to help you navigate through the storm…and make some money!
So let’s get right to it with….
Lithium Corporation
Trading Symbol: LTUM
Why Lithium and Why LTUM?
Lithium
is used extensively in consumer electronic products such as mobile
phones, iPod’s, Blackberrys, cameras, to name just a few.
Apple, Motorola, Research in Motion, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Samsung and Sony…all use lithium in most, if not all, of their products.
But most of the headlines have recently been about the use of Lithium in electric car batteries.
Domestic and Foreign car manufacturers are pouring millions into the development of electric vehicles: the Chevy Volt, the Nissan Leaf and theMitsubishi’s electric car concepts, for example.
And Lithium batteries, which they’ll all use, are a clean, light and reliable source of energy!
Some
auto companies are speculating that pure-electric cars could make up
10% of vehicle purchases by 2020, with automotive giant General Motors
getting a major slice of the lithium pie.
And Of Course LTUM Mines Lithium!
LTUM
is a mineral and exploration company. And it has acquired a number of
lithium-rich properties in Nevada, which it is already developing!
And check this out, too!
Just a few days ago, it was announced that LTUM
acquired claims in several areas considered hotbeds for lithium
exploration, three of which are west of Clayton Valley where Silver
Peak operates the only U.S. lithium carbonate brine production plant in
the U.S.
LTUM says samples indicate lithium sediments are DOUBLE that found at Silver Peak.

Now Let’s Take a Look at the Chart
1) The stock has pulled back nearly 25% from its recent intermediate-term high of $1.40, achieved in early January ’10.
2) Upside volume spiked during the most recent rally, but the subsequent pullback experienced only light profit taking.
3) Despite the MACD pointing lower, the MACD histogram is stabilizing and could be poised to reverse soon.
4) The stochastics is pointing higher and emerging from oversold levels.
