We’ve donated $10 000 to the Red Cross to help come to the rescue Haitians devastated as a result of the major earthquake that hit the impoverished Caribbean nation on Tuesday the 12th of January 2010.

The American Red Cross is working with its partners in the global Red Cross and Red Crescent network, including the Haitian Red Cross, and other partners to assist those affected by this disaster.

Today some reports are claiming Tuesday’s earthquake in Haiti has killed 100,000 people and that toll could reach as high as 500,000, leaving another three million people hurt and homeless without any shelter, food or water.

The devastation of this earthquake in Haiti is incomprehensible, and is only exasperated by the fact that Haiti is one of the world’s poorest countries.
