My new big pick is ETEV.

Make sure you look over the charts on ETEV both short and long term. Both look really positive as ETEV has traded at much higher prices just a few months ago so I believe it still looks very attractive here. Since ETEV started to move again a few days ago, the rally looks like it just started!

Let me give you some background information on why ETEV’s product could be very beneficial in cars.

In a gasoline-fueled engine, there are many efficiency limiting parameters, including knock-limited compression ratio, intake air throttling and EGR.

The gasoline engine is also limited by the time required for the spark kernel to develop into a fully propagating flame front and travel across the combustion chamber until it is extinguished at the cylinder wall.

Significant amount of spark advance is required to allow for peak pressure to be obtained at top dead center. Power is lost as the burning gases push down on the piston as it travels upwards on the compression stroke.

Both gasoline-fueled and diesel–fueled engines operate at much lower efficiencies than the theoretical thermodynamic cycle. In a diesel-fueled engine, the single-most limiting parameter is poor air utilization. The fuel is sprayed into the combustion chamber when the piston is very close to top dead center, leaving very little time for atomization and mixing.

Engine manufacturers are beginning to address this problem by installing very high pressure fuel injection equipment to assist in atomization. The pumping loss directly attributable to this high pressure injection robs 10 to 15% of the engine’s energy output.
