Schlumberger profit jumps 33 percent (Reuters)

Reuters – Schlumberger Ltd , the world’s largest oilfield services company, posted a 33 percent jump in quarterly profit on brisk activity in North America land markets, but said it did not expect drilling to resume in the Gulf of Mexico this year.
