National Semiconductor 2Q outlook misses Street (AP)

AP – National Semiconductor Corp., which makes chips for power management, signal amplification and other uses, said Thursday its fiscal first-quarter net income nearly tripled, but the company said it expects slower growth than usual in the near term.
